Is there a shuttle service (for both days?)
There are 2 options for transport:
1. This option is free and is just a trailer shuttle which leaves from Hebron Haven (finish of Day 1) at 8h30 to the start. Please book with Andy at 084 572 5244
2. This option costs R100. A driver will be provided to take your car from the start (Caversham) to the finish at Hebron Haven. Please WhatsApp Jen for bookings on 083 383 4882.
Are there any water tables to refill on Day 1?
Are there any take out options on Day 1 on the course if needs be?
I will be doing K1 on Day 1 & K2 on Day 2 - can I use the Full 2 Day Race option to enter?
Yes. Make sure you and your day 2 partner enter the "Full 2 Day" race as K1 paddlers and then let Lorna Oliver know that you intend to paddle together on day 2.
You need to be aware that you and your partner won't appear in the overall "Full 2 Day Race" results but rather in the "Day 1" and "Day 2" results respectively.
Are there and seconding/viewing points on day 2?
Yes. There is a great view point at the Petrus Stroom bridge just above Midmar dam (map link). However, please do not park on the bridge or obstruct traffic in any way.
NB Please also keep an eye on children and be aware that traffic will be crossingg the bridge at high speed
"Gorge Rapid" at about 3:57
